Grandad Dave was a grandad to 9, He had a loving wife Violet and a sister called Rosemary. Grandad Dave was fun- loving and always wanted to play cards with his grandchildren which he always cheated at, grandad was a very good singer (Frank Sinatra) my way.
Grandad Dave always made everyone laugh and was always fun to be around his family ment the world to him. Grandad Dave died of cancer, always in our hearts. xx Love always..

Before you went i wanted to say to you loads of things. I never hoped for this day to come and i will never ever forget the memories that we have. the times you used to blame me for cheating at cards wen i always knew that it was you,, lol..x I cannot My head round the fact you are truthfully gone in reality but not in my heart. Violet is always missing you and thinking of you more and more each day.
The cristmass's and the birthdays and all the celebrations that we would normally celebrate together are not the same.
I often think to my self how come it was my grandad, I do not wish it on no - one as i know they wil be going through the same thing. It is sooo uneven without you here and because we was so close it has made it even harder for me to pull my self together for all peoples sake. I want to see you again... All the time im thinking It is unfair . Its MY grandad that it happend to and i really want him back ..
I really really miss you and all the fun things The christmass diner we had siting around the big table eating you gorgeous food.. You always was the best wasnt you.. Its draughts you was always better at . and yes grandad you never cheated on that it was just me not been as good.

as i think of the times we would have been havving if you were here.. A beautiful cristmas dinner.. My grandad up and about singing to your best.. But when you was ill i sill knew even though you cannot talk to me i can still be aware of you been there. You could not beat the illness and i so wish you could have done. But as reassurance i have pictures , grandma and all the people around me , but best of all i have YOU in my thoughts forever
